Hole 1
The opening hole is a long sweeping right bend, lined by trees until approximately 150m out. At this point the massive dam on the right comes in to play.
If you bend it too far off the tee you will find your ball in the compound. Even though the local rules give you relief from point of entry, the distance you loose and the tree line will hinder your second shot. And for the bigger hitters, the green can be reached in 2 and is favoured by a gentle fade.
